STATEMENT IN THE HOUSE ON MY REELECTION AS VICTORIA MP

I’m deeply honoured that Victorians have renewed their trust in me, and I’m excited to work with them to help advance their priority issues.
To complement their creative efforts for a national housing strategy.
TO protect our coastal waters from tanker traffic, and our west-coast fisheries from contaminated feedlots for fish farms.
To continue building a vibrant community with a caring spirit.
To protect and streamline public health care so it’s efficient and responsive.
To foster a strong local economy that supports green technology, clean energy, small business and quality jobs.
To secure senior government help for LRT.
And to stop the privatization of Victoria Harbour.
I’m proud to represent Canada’s most liveable community, and I will use every lever at my disposal to respond to its needs and interests.
