Denise’s record

  • Denise has been instrumental in making Victoria a more liveable city by working to establish a regional housing trust, developing the greenways and trails network and spearheading clean-up of Victoria Harbour.
  • Denise ensured that millions of dollars invested in the City’s Dockside Lands were focused on a “triple bottom line” approach based on social, environmental and economic sustainability. Dockside Green will integrate affordable housing and state of the art environmental technology.
  • Denise advocated for and supported a harm reduction approach to open drug use in the City.
  • Denise worked with youth to develop Victoria’s newly-appointed youth council
  • Denise spearheaded the development of Galloping Goose Trail and Selkirk Trestle Bridge
